When should I book my session? 

Ideally you should book your session as soon as possible. My schedule typically books up between 1-3 months in advance. The majority of my sessions are booked on the weekends, but booking during the week is also welcome if given enough notice. For newborns, I recommend booking in the second or early in the third trimester (after 13 weeks). This gives us plenty of time to work on the perfect props and set design for your session! We book your due date, and once baby arrives you and I will schedule a time that works best once you're home. Newborn sessions take place within the first 2-14 days after birth. 

What is included in the investment cost?

Depending on the type of session, the amount of digital images or products/prints may vary. But, with every session, your digital images via direct download, set design or travel time to location, and a print release are included unless otherwise specified.

Where do sessions take place?

Most sessions take place at either Storytellers Studio in Ford City (see Contact Page for details), or Crooked Creek State Park. If you have another location in mind that you'd like to use, just let me know and we can chat about the details! The investment pricing for Fresh 48 covers travel to Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, as well as Butler Hospital. I'm also happy to travel to all city hospitals including Magee, West Penn,  the Midwife Center, etc with a small travel fee.  

What if my child gets sick or we have an emergency?

First, take a breather! Don't stress! I'm a momma too, and I understand things happen and things come up. Please notify me as soon as you can if you are unable to keep your session date or time so that I can try to fill that spot. I allocate for ONE reschedule per deposit. If something were to happen and I would have to cancel (i.e. an emergency with my own family, or catastrophe at the studio) that does not count towards your reschedule. 

Do you provide the props and accessories?

For studio sessions, I take care of all the design elements after we discuss what you have in mind! The studio is stuffed full of tons of cute props, headbands, texture, color, and fun! I'm always adding more, and you're more than welcome to request something specific if you have seen me use it before! 

How long do sessions last?

Shoot time can be anywhere from 30-90 minutes depending on type of session and demeanor of your kiddos. Newborn sessions run between 2-4 hours. 

What should I do to prepare for my session?

A few days before your session, I will send out a confirmation as well as a cute little packet with all the deets!

How do I see my images?

24-48 hours after your session I post a preview on social media. If this is something you would like to opt out of, please make that known during your session. Your full gallery will be sent to your email 2-3 weeks after your session date. Instructions to view, share, order, and download your images will be in that email.
